Terms of Service

The short version: you're buying a license to run self-hosted software on your own infrastructure, billed as a subscription through Paddle or Polar. You can cancel anytime and keep access through the end of what you already paid for. Starter is free forever — no card required — and Pro/Advanced are paid upgrades.

1. Who this agreement is with

These terms are between you (the buyer) and CRM Scoring ("we," "us"), governing your use of the crmscoring.com website and your license to run the CRM Scoring software. They don't cover the software's own runtime behavior once it's on your infrastructure — that's governed by the license file shipped with the product (LICENSE in the source repository).

2. The free trial

Every self-hosted deployment starts with a time- and upload-boxed free trial (3 days, a capped number of uploads, and a capped number of rows per upload while unlicensed) — full functionality, no card required. Use it to evaluate the product on your own CRM export before paying anything.

3. License grant

Once you subscribe, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to run the CRM Scoring software on infrastructure you control, for as long as your subscription remains active (or until your currently-issued license key's validity window ends, whichever is later — see "How cancellation actually works" below). You may not resell, sublicense, or redistribute the software or a license key issued to you.

4. Billing

Paddle and Polar are our payment processors, and each acts as merchant of record for purchases made through it — meaning your transaction is legally with Paddle or Polar, not directly with us, and their own terms govern the purchase itself: paddle.com/legal/checkout-buyer-terms or polar.sh/legal/terms. Subscriptions are monthly or annual and renew automatically at the price shown at checkout until cancelled. All prices are shown localized to your region before you pay — nothing is charged beyond what's displayed on that screen.

5. License delivery

After a successful payment, a signed license key is emailed to the address you paid with, usually within a minute or two. You add it to your deployment's own configuration — we never access, log in to, or otherwise touch your infrastructure to install it.

6. How cancellation actually works

Cancel anytime — through Paddle/Polar's own billing management, or by emailing us. Cancelling stops future renewal charges; it does not immediately cut off access. Your license key is verified offline by your own deployment and can't be remotely revoked, so it simply remains valid through its existing expiry window (a short buffer past your paid period, to tolerate billing retries) rather than being disabled the moment you cancel.

8. Acceptable use

Don't attempt to circumvent license verification, redistribute a license key issued to you, or use the software to violate applicable law (including anti-spam regulations for any outreach drafts you choose to send). We reserve the right to decline to issue or renew a license for abusive use.

9. Third-party services you connect

If you configure your own Anthropic, Apollo, Salesforce, or Slack credentials, those integrations run under your own agreements with those providers. We have no visibility into or responsibility for that usage or its costs.

10. Disclaimer & limitation of liability

The software is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind. Lead scores, LLM-generated rationale, and drafted outreach are decision support, not guarantees of accuracy or outcome — you're responsible for reviewing outreach before sending it. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the software.

11. Changes to these terms

If these terms change, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be noted here.
